THE BEST WINNIPEG RESTAURANTS

The best Winnipeg dining experiences are right here at The Forks. SMITH Restaurant, located at Inn at the Forks is one of Winnipeg’s most popular restaurants and is a destination in itself.  The vibe is rustic, modern, and urban. The food is shareable, luxurious and local, and the entire SMITH experience is incredibly Instagram worthy. Weekends draw locals with an indulgent winnipeg brunch menu, and afternoons are perfect on the patio with a scratch-made craft cocktail, or one of the many selections of local craft beer on tap.

Gather, celebrate, and host your next event at SMITH Restaurant. Signature design, and well-crafted menus, provide the perfect setting to host your next event. Private dining spaces are available for 12-50 guests.

Steps from the hotel, is The Common, a craft beer and wine kiosk located in the newly renovated Food Hall of The Forks Market. They have 20 craft beer and 20 wines available by the glass or in flights. Their beer listing is always changing, so there is always something new to try. The wine list is curated four times a year by top female sommelier, Véronique Rivest.

The Food Hall at the Forks Market features the best in local offerings on the main floor and fantastic local maker + retail options on the second floor. What is now The Forks Market was once horse stables + haylofts in the height of the railway days.

Located in the backyard of Inn at the Forks, in one of the world’s most architecturally progressive buildings – The Canadian Museum for Human Rights, ERA Bistro is Winnipeg’s gathering place for good food, sharing and reflection. The menu is contemporary and fresh, with an emphasis on local, Fairtrade and sustainable ingredients.
